Resilience Insurance has teamed up with Aon. one of the world’s largest insurance broking organisations, to drive further expansion of Australia’s original and market leading Latent Defects Insurance (LDI) product.

Resilience Insurance, Australia’s original and market leading Latent Defects Insurance provider, has agreed a distribution partnership with Aon to further expand Aon’s diverse and market leading services to its construction, property and finance clients.

Resilience LDI delivers 10-year insurance protection to owners and occupiers against the cost of latent defects in residential buildings.

Resilience LDI has already demonstrated delivery of stronger confidence for consumers of developer and builder production, supports quality construction delivery for industry stakeholders and de-risks finance arrangements across the construction funding landscape. This distribution partnership ensures Resilience LDI remains front of market, and the leading security of new dwelling delivery in Australia. With a significant number of new dwellings needed across the country, and an accelerated building delivery schedule expected over the coming years, it is imperative that key stakeholders in the product delivery supply chain have confidence in the quality and stability of those new homes.

“As Australia faces unprecedented demand for new housing, our clients are navigating increasingly complex delivery environments,” said Mary-Catherine Hamill, Head of Construction for Aon in Australia. “This collaboration enables us to offer a solution that helps to de-risk projects and reinforce confidence in the quality of new residential builds, providing better outcomes for owners, developers and the broader community.”

Resilience Insurance shares the enthusiasm for this agreement.

Corey Nugent, CEO of Resilience Insurance said: “Resilience Insurance is proud to be the market leader introducing Australia’s first Latent Defects Insurance product. The agreement with Aon expands the opportunity to deliver high quality, new dwellings in Australia at a time when this could not be of greater importance."
