Housing All Australians, the business-led movement helping Australia's homelessness crisis, invites you to its first national breakfast tour. Furthering our mission to foster respectful unrest by educating the public on the often-overlooked consequences of the housing crisis, we are bringing Assoc. Prof. Gregg Colburn (University of Washington) over from the U.S. to exclusively discuss his research that tests conventional beliefs about the causes of homelessness and proposes a path forward.
In New York City, over 78,000 people are homeless on a single night. We must act now to prevent Australia from facing a similarly unmanageable problem. This series of talks, starting in Melbourne and moving on to Sydney and Brisbane are a must-attend for key industry leaders looking to reshape the national conversation on housing and homelessness.
"Based on our research, the recent rapid escalation in housing costs in Australia has created the conditions—absent any major changes—for homelessness to increase significantly.” — Gregg Colburn, Associate Professor, University of Washington
Book a table with your colleagues and connect with your industry peers at this must-attend industry event, made possible by PEXA (National Event Sponsor), Property Council of Australia (Event Partner) and Quest Apartment Hotels (Accommodation Sponsor).
