The Thirty-fourth in a series of Market Insights where Mike Bird, Urban.com.au CEO, sits down with specialist in the New Property space to share their insight on the current market.
Since its launch in 2019, Hamton, a prominent Melbourne developer, has been steadily shaping the $2 billion masterplan of Moonee Valley Park. In a recent interview with Hamton's Managing Director, Matt Malseed, Urban.com.au CEO Mike Bird explores key insights for potential buyers.
The latest stage of Moonee Valley Park, Trackside House, is now under construction by builder ICON. This building, the first in the precinct overlooking the track back to the city, stands out with units that provide a unique view of the finishing straight. Malseed highlights a distinctive feature of the masterplan—the thoughtful dispersion of buildings. Rather than having a designated "good" or "less desirable" side, the masterplan ensures incredible aspects throughout the botanical park, aiming to create a neighbourhood within a botanical oasis.
Trackside House, comprising just over 200 apartments across 11 levels, and Stonepine House, with 119 one, two and three-bedroom units, are both part of the ongoing construction at Moonee Valley Park. These buildings promise extensive resident amenities such as rooftop pools, hobby rooms, state-of-the-art gyms, and bookable private dining areas through a resident app.
Hamton's collaboration with architectural firms Rothelowman and Cera Stribley for completed and upcoming stages underlines their commitment to quality design and construction. As the development progresses, the next phase designed by Cera Stribley, is set to introduce 442 apartments, further enriching the growing community within Moonee Valley Park.
